Tyndale Class - Old Testament Survey

(September 5-7)

This course will provide an overview of the entire Old Testament, placing every book in its proper context and showing the progressive revelation of God’s plan for mankind from the Garden of Eden through the Post-Exilic period.

Course Objectives:

1. To gain a synthetic understanding of the Old Testament.
2. To contextually understand God’s Covenants with Israel and their relationship to God’s overall plan for His creation.
3. To be able to clearly delineate the four periods of Old Testament history, as well as the biblical books and the major personalities associated with each period.

Class particulars:

This Tyndale class are scheduled to provide 9 hours of intensive teaching compressed into a day and half. Friday class run from 6-9 P.M. Saturday session runs from 8:30 A.M. - 3 P.M. with a 30 minute break for lunch. Registered students pay only $42 per course plus the cost of required textbook(s).  Those who wish to audit the class do so for free, however, we do ask for $10 for lunch. The purchase of the textbook(s) for those auditing the course is optional.
